AI hardware had a rough week, and the influencers we track mostly answered it by buying. Micron was the most discussed stock, with 19 of 21 calls bullish, even though it closed at 690 on November 6, down about 22% from 884.74 on October 30. Optical names dropped even further: Lumentum lost about 36%, Marvell about 28% and Applied Optoelectronics about 27%. Mega-cap platforms held up much better (Amazon about +8%, Alphabet and Microsoft each about +2%), but they still split opinion, with Google's search business and Amazon's run the main points of disagreement.
Memory: Micron at the center of the dip-buying
Micron fell about 17% on November 5 alone, and most voices treated the drop as noise rather than a broken thesis.
- 美股仙人 called memory the "pearl" of hardware and kept repeating "buy the dip, hold long term" on MU ↗. Later he said he had closed all his margin positions and now holds Micron shares only, fully invested ↗.
- Jukan recommended DRAM as a relatively defensive way to hold the AI trade. His reasons: the stocks trade near 1x 2027 book value and the makers keep buying back shares ↗.
- 硅谷居士 pointed to Micron's forward P/E of 3.4 ↗ and to SK hynix's forward P/E below 3 ↗.
- Financial Education thinks memory stocks have "already done their flush" as long as the wider market holds up ↗. Ruby投资笔记 argued that a halt in fab construction could limit future supply and support memory prices ↗.
- Serenity noted Micron's statement that its long-term agreements are noncancellable take-or-pay ↗.
The doubters were few but blunt. 阳光财经 was still watching for support near 740 on November 5 ↗. A day later he called buying Micron a bad decision and said memory stocks may give back their gains ↗. XTrader猫姐美股 said she would wait for a confirmed turn before trading it ↗.
Optics: the Marvell–Lumentum deal splits the camp
The deal influencers discussed, under which Lumentum holders would receive 4.5 Marvell shares each, produced some of the sharpest disagreement of the week.
- Bulls: 美股仙人 saw it as the strongest endorsement yet of optical modules and was buying both LITE and MRVL ↗. Serenity called the deal "extremely positive" for Marvell strategically ↗. He argued it makes independent laser makers such as AAOI, COHR and SIVE.ST more valuable ↗ and that the laser shortage would survive even a 20–30% drop in demand ↗. ZipTrader described the Marvell sell-off as a capex scare over spending that was "delayed, not cancelled" ↗.
- Bears: NaNa说美股 said Lumentum used to be her top optical pick but no longer is, because it has effectively become a 4.5x long on Marvell, a stock she has less faith in ↗. Ruby投资笔记 advised against buying either until valuation, fundamentals and the chart line up ↗. 老汤美股财经 sold a small Marvell position at $163 on worries that the deal would weigh on the stock ↗.
All 8 AAOI calls were bullish. Invest with Henry is averaging down with LEAP options ↗. 美股仙人 called its earnings just middling but said the stock looked too oversold to push lower ↗.
Chips: Nvidia unanimous, AMD and Intel contested
NVDA fell about 9% on the week, yet all 12 calls on it were bullish.
- ZipTrader noted that Nvidia is now cheaper than the S&P 500 as a whole ↗.
- 老李玩钱 plans to fill his target position below 177 ↗. Nick 美股咖啡館 bought some but said he is not calling the bottom ↗.
AMD is down about 11% on the week. It fell about 17% on November 5 and recovered about 11% the next day.
- Bulls: Financial Education sees $1,000+ within a few years ↗. Invest with Henry argued that if AI systems use more CPUs per GPU, the market has not yet priced in the extra CPU demand ↗. 老汤美股财经 moved his Marvell money into AMD at an average of $493 ↗.
- Bears: 视野环球财经 wants to see AMD back above resistance before calling an uptrend ↗. 阳光财经 said the trend had turned bearish and named 376 as the key line ↗.
On INTC, down about 14%, Serenity pointed to the CEO buying $9.71M of shares at $64.7 ↗. Everything Money is interested only below roughly $30–35 ↗. 美股投资网 won't make Intel a priority until margins and foundry revenue improve ↗.
Platforms: Google split over search, Amazon over its run-up
GOOGL drew 18 bullish calls and 2 bearish ones.
- Bulls: Nick 美股咖啡館 cited record search volume, cloud growth and a ten-year-low P/E ↗. ZipTrader pointed to the best cloud quarter ever and the lowest multiple in 14 years ↗. Investing Simplified - Professor G is "doubling down" ↗. 投资TALK君 is shifting money from Amazon into Google because he sees a better risk/reward ↗.
- Skeptics: 刘翔的投资频道 sees AI disrupting Google's ad business model ↗. NaNa说美股 sold 100 of her 155 shares over the same concern ↗.
On AMZN, Financial Education now calls it his favorite Magnificent 7 stock because he can see AWS turning spending into returns ↗. Invest with Henry sees $280 ↗. Others disagreed: NaNa said the stock had run too far given its negative cash flow ↗, and 投资TALK君 trimmed Amazon and bought META with the proceeds ↗. All 6 calls on MSFT were bullish, with Ruby投资笔记 calling it a core holding that turns costly technology into real free cash flow ↗.
Index calls: is the bottom close?
QQQ closed at 656.1, down about 5% on the week, after a drop of about 6.5% on November 5.
- 牛顿师兄 first flagged 666–667 as the line separating a correction from a bear market ↗. By November 6 he thought the market was at or near a bottom and planned to buy tactically in stages ↗.
- Art of Speculation hoped for a false break below 660 on heavy volume to mark a short-term bottom ↗.
- NaNa说美股 prefers buying the broad index over semiconductors, because indexes tend to recover faster ↗.
- XTrader猫姐美股 warned that if 650 fails, 630 and 620 are the next levels ↗.
Apple, Palantir, Tesla: where the bears showed up
AAPL was the only top name with more bearish than bullish calls (6 to 3). 投资TALK君 called it expensive even as a safe haven ↗. StockTalkwithJay美股 thinks the good news is priced in and expects pressure on margins ↗. 阳光财经 took the other side, expecting the price gap to fill ↗.
PLTR fell about 13%. Tom Nash set a $1,000 target ↗. At the other end, 美股 | 价值罗盘 would short any rally ↗, and Invest with Henry wants an entry near 165 ↗.
TSLA, down about 10%, split 5 bullish to 4 bearish. Money or Life 美股频道 sold his whole position and turned neutral-to-bearish ↗. 投资TALK君 called next year Tesla's "payback" year for FSD ↗.

- Mon Nov 9, after the close: RKLB, ASTS, ZETA. All 6 Rocket Lab calls are bullish. Money or Life 美股频道 calls it the best space stock and added heavily ↗, and Serenity thinks it could be the next SpaceX ↗. AST SpaceMobile splits 3 bullish to 2 bearish: Money or Life is negative long term over uncertainty, while Serenity put it in an "It's All Over" portfolio at $39 ↗. Tom Nash called Zeta cheap at about 22x forward P/E ↗.
- Tue Nov 10, after the close: CRWV. Leans bearish, 4 to 2. ZipTrader calls CoreWeave a great dip buy despite its debt ↗. Joseph Hogue points to capital spending far above operating cash ↗, and 美股投资网 thinks fast-expanding AI infrastructure names face the most re-rating ↗.
- Thu Nov 12, before the open: NBIS, TE. Nebius is split 3 to 3: Serenity sees a possible next hyperscaler, NaNa bought some but wants 120–135 to add ↗, and Money or Life is shorting it ↗. T1 Energy is also in Serenity's "It's All Over" portfolio.
- Thu Nov 12, after the close: AMAT, CBRS, NU. Victor美股投资 sold Applied Materials on October 6 and hasn't bought back ↗. 投资TALK君 thinks Cerebras is worth opening a position in ↗. Nick 美股咖啡館 is adding to Nu ↗.
