My opinion is that the optical sector underperformance recently from $AAOI to $SIVE (and $LITE, $MTSI) has been absurd, since demand visibility is stupidly high and shortages are expected for the next 3-5 years.
$LITE, $MTSI, $AAOI all point to extreme demand imbalances in lasers, and with the supply chain bottlenecked for years, It's getting difficult not to see photonics echoing the memory supercycle entering 2027.
