Well, here's my read on this. So the whole managed care group has been under a massive cloud for over a year. The market has been terrified of rising medical costs eating into insurer margins. And that fear and that fear is exactly what the July 15th report reignited. When the CEO and a director step in two days later, the most natural interpretation is that the people who actually see the cost data every day think the market is punishing what may be just a temporary blip.
